It was such treat to be a part of Courtney & Craig’s wedding in Washington, DC at the Newseum (a museum celebrating News)! They’re not only such a sweet couple, but they also love to ski (we hit it off quickly over our shared love of skiing). Courtney and Craig met while on a ski trip to Snowshoe Mountain, West Virginia with co-workers. They both worked at the same company but had never actually spoken before fate brought them together. During their first ski run down the mountain, they happened to lose the rest of their group, but lucky for them they hit it off and a beautiful romance started! Four years later, Craig proposed to Courtney while on a romantic ski trip to Salt Lake City, Utah. It couldn’t have been more perfect! Much like their proposal, their wedding was amazing! Courtney and Craig started with a beautiful wedding ceremony at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown. Courtney’s father surprised Courtney with a Rolls Royce which transported them to the church. It was quite the grand entrance! Courtney and Craig then had a chance to spend quality time together in the vintage Rolls Royce, on their ride to the Newseum. The Newseum was the perfect venue, with amazing views of multiple great D.C. Monuments including the Capitol Building & Washington Monument. We loved having the opportunity to capture their day as Washington D.C. wedding photographers and wish Courtney & Craig all the best in life & marriage!

Courtney and her bridesmaids started off the day getting ready at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Washginton D.C. We thought it was so special that she had her mother included in her wedding party as a Matron of Honor!

We loved the reactions of her dad and bridesmaids as Courtney revealed her wedding dress.

Courtney and her parents arrived in the Rolls Royce to make a beautiful grand entrance!

The Catholic ceremony at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Washington D.C. was beautiful. It is such a gorgeous church.

Courtney and Craig enjoyed celebrating their marriage with some alone time in the Rolls Royce on their way to the Newseum!

Courtney loved the fountain in front of the Newseum, which provided a nice backdrop for the wedding party pictures!

As Courtney and Craig arrived at the Newseum for the wedding reception, the sky was beautiful shades of pink as the sun set behind the Washington Monument.

What a gorgeous view of the Washington D.C. Capitol building! These lovebirds enjoyed a romantic stroll atop the 8th floor patio of the Newseum.

We couldn’t get enough of the view of the Capitol building all lit up from the reception area! We absolultely love being Washington D.C. wedding photographers!
