Jessica & Matt’s gorgeous vineyard wedding took place at Veritas Winey, where the end of summer foliage provided the perfect backdrop for their special day. Jessica and Matt met at UVA when they started graduate school and were assigned seats next to one another. This outgoing couple is always full of surprises, especially when Matt changed up his plan on how to propose (which we shared during their engagement session blog post earlier this year).

The couple’s wedding day was full of beautiful lavender and green hues, which really complemented the vineyard theme of their wedding. We loved working with Meghan and her amazing team from Shindig Weddings and Events, LLC! They pay attention to all of the details, and did a great job incorporating the wedding colors throughout the day, while Southern Blooms floral designs further enhanced the ambiance of the wedding. One of the most precious moments of the day was Jessica’s first look with Matt. Instead of the bride approaching the groom, Matt came up to Jessica to surprise her. The look on their faces when he reached her was that of pure adoration. Jessica and Matt’s friends and family were so much fun to spend the day with! It was great seeing the bridal party personalities come out while photographing them. We hope you enjoy a glimpse into their day and of the fun moments they shared!
