Kathryn and David met through mutual friends in New York City and the rest was history. David’s proposal story was so romantic. After taking Kathryn to Charleston, SC for Valentine’s Day weekend, he proposed at the top of a lighthouse after writing “Will you marry me Kathryn” in the sand! He even surprised her with inviting all her friends and family to Charleston to celebrate!

Welcome to the South was the theme for Kathryn & David’s wedding day at King Family Vineyards. With guests from all over, this fun couple wanted them to feel the southern charm that they grew up with. The southern details were delicately placed throughout their wedding day with the help of Cody Granis and her Amore Events team who did an amazing job. We enjoyed watching the guests have fun using the “southern” props for the guest book!

We loved the signature cocktails with lemonade as well as the home-made jams and honey for the guests to enjoy at dinner. BBQ Exchange is always a favorite of ours when it comes to catering! In addition to the delicious barbecue, they brought out a late night snack of Chick-fil-A with old fashion coke bottles, which was a fun and unique touch. Instead of cutting a cake, Kathryn and David opted to cut pies, which fit perfectly with their southern theme. There are so many fun moments from their wedding day, so enjoy some of our favorites!
