Scenic Virginia Wedding | King Family Vineyards in Crozet VA

Catherine and Tim had a gorgeous spring day for their Scenic Virginia Wedding at King Family Vineyards. After photographing their engagement session last spring on the UVA grounds, we were super excited to capture Catherine and Tim’s wedding day! Not only is the love between these two obvious, but they have so much fun together that it makes photographing them a joy! We adore their engagement story that they shared with us! Tim had everything planned perfectly — from Catherine waking up to flowers at the beginning of the day, to note cards that Catherine was supposed to open every hour while at work, then after work Tim swept Catherine off to King Family Vineyards in Crozet, Va where he proposed with with a bottle of King Family Meritage 2014 (the year that they started dating!) inside a wine box Tim had custom made! Of course Catherine said YES! and that night they celebrated at Tavola with close friends.

The couple’s wedding day was planned just as perfectly! Catherine and Tim chose a beautiful and natural color scheme of green, blush, and white that really fit their spring wedding date and brought to life this Scenic Virginia Wedding at King Family Vineyards. We loved the special touches throughout the day, especially how the couple honored their pets, Aurora and Koda, through their signature cocktails and cake topper.

The wedding reception was full of joy and dancing, with a touch of “Go ‘Hoos Go” from all of the UVA faithful in attendance! We loved capturing the couple celebrating with their friends and family, especially when they were hoisted in the air on the dance floor.
