Stephanie & Logan’s shipshape Navy wedding took place at Early Mountain Vineyards near Charlottesville. We first spoke with Stephanie while Logan was deployed. It was clear to hear the love they shared as Stephanie spoke about Logan. When we finally had the opportunity to meet both of them, it felt like we were long lost friends.
Their wedding day was full of smiles, laughter, and fun. We adored the gold and champagne details throughout the day that complimented the medals on the men’s uniforms. It was great to see Jane Maples (who we first met when we did family portraits for her years ago), and she did a wonderful job planning their wedding on behalf of Amore Events By Cody.
The sun was shining brightly as Stephanie’s father walked her down the aisle, and Logan watched with bated breath. After a sentimental ceremony, the couple made their way back down the aisle where they kissed under the traditional sword arch, and in traditional fashion, Logan’s fellow Sailors welcomed Stephanie to the Navy with a tap on the butt from their sword! It was wonderful to see them continue incorporating Naval traditions as they enjoyed cutting their cake with Logan’s sword. The cake created by Maliha Creations was quite beautiful, and it looked just as good on Logan’s face. The evening continued with dancing and fun thanks to DJ Derek Tobler!
Stephanie and Logan, we wish you all the best for a long and happy marriage! We were so honored to be a part of your special day!
