It was such a treat to photograph Lee & Frank’s Hawaiian Wedding at Keswick Vineyards! Lee’s Hawaiian heritage was present throughout the day. One of our favorite moments of the day was during Lee and Frank’s first look. The happy couple wanted to see one another before their ceremony and with the last of the yellow leaves falling through the air, we had the perfect romantic setting. Lee presented Frank with a Maile Lei, a Hawaiian tradition representing honor and respect. Frank wore the lei throughout the ceremony and into their reception and we think it was the perfect way to tie in their love for Hawaii.
Their beautiful ceremony took place outdoors facing the Blue Ridge Mountains as the sun set. Despite it being a bit chilly, their lovely Hawaiian themed wedding came alive with florals by Amy of Blue Ridge Floral Design and not only honored Lee’s heritage but kept us thinking of warm beaches and sunshine!
Barb of Barb Wired Events orchestrated the day beautifully and as usual we had a great time working alongside the team at Keswick Vineyards! Enjoy looking through some of our favorite images from their big day and keep an eye out for part 2 tomorrow!
