If I had only three adjectives to describe Laurel & Jared’s Wedding in Vermont at Sumner Mansion Inn, it would be 1) custom tie-die shirts, 2) ethereal beauty, and 3) VERY Vermont!! 🙂 (ok, so maybe they are not adjectives, but you get the point)

This past weekend I had the privilege of traveling to Hartland, Vermont for Laurel & Jared’s Wedding! Jared being family (his parents and my dad were cousins), made this even more special for me. Getting to see family that I haven’t seen in 9 years, and meeting Jared’s new extended family was quite the fun experience. The first night Laurel and Jared hosted an informal rehearsal dinner at their cute house that very much embodies the Vermont spirit. I loved the decorations and floral arrangements that Laurel, Jared and their families put together, and especially enjoyed the brick oven pizza which was made in front of us.

The Sumner Mansion Inn made for the perfect location for their beautiful destination wedding. Laurel & Jared wanted a very relaxed outdoor wedding, and had a beautiful ceremony under one of the most exquisite old trees I’ve ever seen! I loved the DIY wedding details that Laurel & Jared incorporated, like the birdseed favors in the shape of a heart, and the floral arrangements picked and arranged by Laurel (and I think she had a little help from the family too).
