King Family Vineyards Fall Weddings | Charlottesville Virginia Photography

Meredith and Peter had one of the most beautiful King Family Vineyards fall weddings in late September! Meredith chose gorgeous slate blue bridesmaid dresses which paired nicely with Peter’s blue tie! We also loved how they incorporated blue into the bridesmaids bouquets with blue hydrangeas designed by Tourterelle Floral Design! The day started out with lots of clouds in the sky and we were lucky enough to have Meredith and Peter’s first look outside with the beautiful mountain view behind them at King Family Vineyards! Of course rain was in the forecast, as it has been for most of our King Family Vineyards fall weddings this year. Thankfully, we had some time to enjoy photographing a few private moments in the vineyard before it started to rain!

King Family Vineyards has a beautiful rain plan option for an inside ceremony and C&O Catering did a wonderful job making the ceremony feel so intimate and romantic. We loved the bistro lights and the sheer curtain that Meredith and Peter chose to have for their inside ceremony. The room was turned into a gorgeous reception in no time with long farm tables that filled the room perfectly. It was such a nice feel with the fireplace, huge barn doors and wine barrels! At the end of the night Meredith surprised us with her blue converse shoes. It totally made the picture of Meredith and Peter kissing in the rain! We wish Meredith and Peter many years of happiness. Have fun on your cruise to Antartica and say hi to the penguins for us!
