Alison and Tim were married at Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyard, on a very windy day in April. The windy weather did not get in the way of their special day though, as they had a beautiful indoor wedding at Pippin Hill with the help and coordination of Beverly Wakefield with A Grand Affair Events. The ceremony took place on the veranda terrace, which was beautifully decorated with lanterns and fresh spring florals on a white birch arbor courtesy of Hedge Fine Blooms. The couple incorporated fun details in their wedding such as happy Buddha place card holders, polaroid cameras for guests, a cigar bar and (a personal favorite) candy bar!
Alison and Tim kept to tradition and saw each other for the first time as Alison walked down the aisle. Seeing the reactions of these two was truly a memorable moment for us. The couple wrote their own vows, which we always find to be special and made the ceremony even more intimate. We also loved that Alison’s sister officiated the ceremony, helping make it very personal.
We loved the Asian American wedding theme, with both Asian wedding traditions and American wedding traditions combining together. Alison had two dresses, her white wedding dress and a red wedding dress that her mother wore at her own wedding! Alison wore her stunning strapless lace dress through most of the day, and later changed into the traditional Chinese wedding dress during the reception. She was a vision in her mother’s red and gold wedding dress! It would be fun to compare pictures of her and her mother on each of their own wedding days!
Thank you Alison and Tim for including us, it was a true delight to have been a part of your wedding day! We wish you the best in your new life together!

We love the symbolism of her mother’s wedding dress hanging in the background, while her sisters, mother and her shared a nice moment together!
While Tim didn’t have any groomsmen, this was the “unofficial” bridal party consisting of his dad, brothers, wrestling friends, and friends from Stafford!
The ring bearer and flower girl were the cutest! We love the flower girl’s basket from Hedge Fine Blooms!
