Lucie and Nick both met during their first year at the University of Virginia Law School. They are truly perfect for each other, and years later upon graduating from UVA Law and beginning new jobs as lawyers in Washington D.C., we were honored to be a part of their new beginning together as husband and wife! We truly loved capturing their glamorous barn wedding amongst the setting of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Everything was perfectly planned for this country chic wedding thanks to Julianne Giuliano of Soiree.

Mount Ida Lodge Bridal Suite

It was important to Lucie and Nick to have a wedding with a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. They sure did choose the right venue!

Lucie and Nick have a Golden Retriever puppy named Finn, and we loved that Finn was included on the cocktail napkins and drink signs! Harvest Moon made these amazing looking signature cocktail drinks in honor of Finn.

We loved how Julianne Giuliano, of Soiree, created a glamorous barn wedding using gold chargers along with a beautiful mix of farm tables and gorgeous linens. It was simple, elegant and beautiful!

The Lodge at Mount Ida Farm sure makes for a beautiful country chic wedding. Festive Fare did a wonderful job with the decor and don’t you just love the drapery from Blue Ridge Lighting?! It creates such a wonderful ambience for a glamouros barn wedding!
