There were so many lovely things at Fiona and Kareem’s Mount Ida Farm Wedding Reception in Scottsville, VA that we can’t wait to share with you! To begin, the incredible sunset that occurred after their beautiful outdoor ceremony gave us the perfect opportunity to take some unique night pictures of the happy couple. We love the excitement captured in the image above and think this image pretty much sums up the happiness of the entire day!

After enjoying the last bit of the sunset, Fiona and Kareem joined friends and family in the recently renovated barn at Mount Ida. It is the perfect place to celebrate an intimate and cozy reception! Cody of Amore Events by Cody, designed beautiful centerpieces and created a magical space for everyone to enjoy. One of our favorite details was the bistro lighting and unique wall of hanging lights strung behind Fiona and Kareem’s sweetheart table (this later turned into the perfect backdrop for a photo booth!). The custom fortune cookies they gave as favors were also a fun detail and a great way to incorporate Fiona’s Chinese heritage!

Between the delicious catering by Courtney of The Local and the amazing music brought by DJ Tobler, the evening had everyone enjoying themselves late into the night.
