Fayette & Mark's Jewish wedding at Keswick Vineyards

Fayette and Mark returned to Charlottesville to celebrate their marriage with a not-so traditional Jewish wedding at Keswick Vineyards. It was important for this lovely couple to incorporate traditions from each of their religious backgrounds. As a result, they created a wedding day full of celebrating with a variety of ceremonies including a traditional Ketuba signing (where the bride and groom affirm their marriage contract prior to the ceremony), lighting a unity candle, and our personal favorite, the breaking of the glass!

Although rain was predicted throughout the day (and we dodged a few showers here and there), they were able to have their ceremony outside overlooking the vibrant grape vines and surrounded by dear friends and family. We love how Fayette used peacock feathers to inspire the details of her wedding. The beautiful blues, greens, browns and plum colors seen in her floral arrangements and programs were stunning. Another one of the highlights was Fayette’s gorgeous couture dress. The intricate details and classy design made for a knock-out statement!

We had such a wonderful time photographing Fayette and Mark’s special day and couldn’t have asked for a better team of vendors to work alongside. Barb from Barb Wired Events executed the day flawlessly and Cindy from Keswick Vineyards is always an important part of making the wedding day a success (you can see some of her photos from their wedding here)! Fayette and Mark have a very special bulldog named Thelma. She wasn’t able to make it to the ceremony so Mark worse these amazing bulldog cufflinks in her honor!
