Charlottesville Vineyard Wedding at Veritas Winery

Meghan and Chris had a gorgeous & elegant Charlottesville vineyard wedding this past September at Veritas Vineyard & Winery! Having both grown up in Washington D.C., they loved the idea of a rustic yet elegant vineyard wedding! Meghan and her bridesmaids started their day by getting ready at Veritas Vineyards. Her father waited so patiently to see his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress, and when he did there were tears of joy! It was such an emotional first look and we loved every moment of it! Meghan then made her way down to see her husband to be, Chris! He could’t have been more ecstatic to see his bride for the first time, and it was so adorable. After taking advantage of the beautiful weather at the vineyard for pictures, we all headed to downtown Charlottesville for their Catholic wedding ceremony at the Holy Comforter Catholic Church!

We loved their 1940 Packard vintage limousine (from Albemarle Limousine), which transported the newlyweds back to Veritas Vineyards after their ceremony! It’s the perfect prop for any Charlottesville Vineyard wedding pictures! Amore Events by Cody and Blue Ridge Floral Design did a beautiful job decorating Meghan & Chris’s Veritas ballroom reception. We particularly loved the gold lanterns and gold flower stands adorning the tables.

While the weather held out for most of the day, it started to pour down during the evening. While most people would be disappointed, we were very excited, as it meant we got to go outside and photograph some really cool pictures of Meghan and Chris (and Meghan’s sister) dancing in the rain. It’s not all that bad when it rains on wedding days! Thank you so much to Meghan and Chris for being game for anything and having fun with us throughout your wedding day!
