We love being Charlottesville Virginia elopement photographers because we get to capture private elopements overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains! It really doesn’t get better than this! Carlene and Dallas met in college five years ago and after being friends for awhile they fell in love. Dallas proposed to Carlene at the waterfall at Sugar Hollow which is their favorite place to hike and fish. When they called us to photograph their weekday wedding day at Ravens Roost on the Blue Ridge Parkway we couldn’t have been happier! Dallas and Carlene drove separately to the mountain location early in the morning, so we could capture their First Look on their wedding day! They were both a little nervous, but once they saw each other their smiles couldn’t have gotten any bigger. We loved that they chose to enjoy a private moment before their small wedding ceremony as they took in the beautiful mountain views. Dallas’s mother made the beautiful bridal bouquet and Dallas’s boutonniere! They were dreamy! Dave Norris, Charlottesville area wedding officiant arrived and we wasted no time getting started with their wedding ceremony that beautiful Friday morning. They exchanged sweet vows to each other and before we knew it they were married! We loved how private and intimate this Charlottesville elopement was and we are just so happy for Dallas and Carlene!
