Ashley & Geoff met at a political rally hour on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.. Ashley works for a women’s nonprofit and is an elected official in DC. Geoff is a lawyer for Congress so these two are a match made in heaven! After dating for 6 years, they knew they couldn’t live without each other. Geoff proposed to Ashley before leaving for the airport on a trip to Florida for Christmas where they were to meet their families. Everyone cried tears of joy when they saw Ashely get off the airplane with a beautiful engagement ring on her finger!

It was a gorgeous summer day at Trump Winery to get married! The vineyards were so green and the landscape was breathtaking! We had a lot of fun capturing the view of Trump Winery Grand Hall with our drone. The aerial photos really show you just how gorgeous this Charlottesville wedding venue is. We really enjoy photographing Charlottesville destination weddings at Trump Winery! Ashley chose to have her first look in the wine barrel room with her father. It was touching when her dad cried as he saw his beautiful daughter in that gorgeous wedding dress! We then traveled down to the cute Chapel on the property for Ashley’s first look with Geoff. His expression on his face was so sweet as he saw his bride for the first time when the doors opened for their first look.

During the wedding professional, we loved how the cute flower girls energetically threw flower petals down the aisle. After the beautiful ceremony, we had a wonderful time digging up the bourbon buried right behind the chapel. It sure did work because the weather was perfect for their summer wedding in Charlottesville, VA! During their wedding portraits, we had an opportunity to explore the Albemarle Estate gardens which couldn’t have been prettier at that time of year. The night went on as guests were so happy to be there on Ashley and Geoff’s special wedding day. This lovely couple ended their night with an amazing firework display! What a grand celebration it was!
