While we would normally be celebrating the best wedding photos from over 30 weddings, 2020 found us photographing only 10 weddings and 7 micro weddings and elopements. However this year, we find ourselves featuring more pictures than ever in our two-part “Best of Weddings” blog post. There may have been less weddings, but there was so much more we found to celebrate in the midst of an unprecedented year. With that being said, we’re excited to share part two of our Best Wedding Photos of 2020!
Many of our couples downsized their weddings, eloped, or quickly planned micro weddings on their originally planned wedding dates while opting for much larger wedding celebrations for the following year. As wedding photographers, it was amazing to witness the creative ways in which our couples adapted to these difficult circumstances. Bridesmaid cardboard cut outs, live video streaming of the wedding ceremony for family members, and personalized face masks are just some of the creative things we’ve seen this year. If 2020 tells us anything, it’s that even in difficult times, love always wins!
While this year was crazy to say the least, we want to thank all of our wedding couples for another great year of weddings! And thank you all for inspiring us and reminding us that there are still so many reasons to celebrate love! We can’t wait to see what the 2021 wedding season has in store for us! If you haven’t checked out the first part of our Best Wedding Photography of 2020 series, you can view it here.
**To all of our couples and planners, we have a few dates still left for 2021 and are booking for the 2022 wedding season! We would love to chat with you about our wedding photography packages!**
