We were ecstatic that Johnsie and Joey chose us to be their Farmington Wedding Photographers! But first, we have to share all about their romantic proposal story! It’s one for the books! Johnsie loves all things wedding so one day, Joey handed her what she thought was just another wedding invitation. But, when she read the invitation, it was actually a proposal from Joey asking her to join him in a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness together. Joey then immediately got down on one knee and proposed with a ring he designed using Johnsie’s grandmother’s stone. Truly amazing!

And so, Johnsie began planning her dream wedding! She was looking forward to this day for a while. With help from her amazing mother Martha, and an amazing team of vendors (including the amazing planning team from Just a Little Ditty), Johnsie was able to bring her wedding vision to life! Mix tradition, fun, and a little bit of southern flare and you’ll get the perfect ingredients for Johnsie’s dream wedding at Farmington Country Club.

We absolutely loved Johnsie and Joey’s locally made, custom watercolor wedding invitations from Rock Paper Scissors, the stunning wedding ceremony florals by Blue Ridge Floral Design, and we love how Johnsie incorporated one of our favorite wedding trends: mix and match bridesmaids dresses! Also, can we talk about her timeless, chic wedding gown?! It has pockets! Of course, we should have expected the dress would have as much style and personality like Johnsie!
