Megan & Rick’s Summer Vineyard Wedding

Megan & Rick’s summer vineyard wedding was inspired by the beauty of Veritas Winery. The day surprised us with stormy skies, but turned out to be a blessing in disguise by creating a beautiful backdrop for some of the most stunning pictures we have captured this year!

The details within invitation suites are always a favorite. From the floral pattern on Megan’s wedding shoes to the invitations, everything was well thought out and incorporated their Sage Green and Gold wedding colors. The beautiful paper suite was designed by Megan and brought to life by the Wedding Paper Divas.

We loved the idea Megan had for her “something blue” wearing the new Oscar de la Renta scent created to match the wedding theme flawlessly.

Not only do we cherish the moments captured when the groom first sees his bride to be, but also the reactions of her bridesmaids the first time they see her in her wedding dress.

Megan & Rick were married on the outdoor patio overlooking the vineyard at Veritas. Their floral design came to life with tones of blush pinks, white, ivory, and sage green. The natural florals, designed by Couture Design, were the perfect addition to their summer vineyard wedding and rustic theme.

The little moments captured on your big day is what makes it extra special.

Wedding Day Hashtags are quite the trend. The wooden sign displaying #meganandrickgethitched was a great idea that everyone was sure to notice!

There were many DIY projects throughout their wedding such as the table numbers made out of tree logs, created by Megan’s bridesmaid, Seema.

Not only did they have a lovely miniature wedding cake baked to perfection by Sweethaus, they also had a dessert table filled with treats made by Albemarle Baking Company.

Megan & Rick are college sweethearts, they met while attending JMU. So it is only fitting they incorporate a little duke spirit into their wedding day. We adore their JMU duke dog toppers for the cupcake tree.
