Opulent Wedding at Keswick Hall

couple portraits Mel & Jeff’s opulent wedding at Keswick Hall was full of love, family, and Champagne. One of the first things we noticed about Mel & Jeff was how clear their love is for one another. After a chance meeting at Jeff’s Christmas Party one year, the two became inseparable, which Jeff shared fondly during his welcome toast. We loved how openly Jeff’s daughters embraced Mel, and how integral they were throughout the wedding day.

The fall foliage surrounding the Blue Ridge Mountains was at its peak, creating a wonderful atmosphere for their outdoor wedding. The couple chose ornate hues of champagne, peach and sky blue to accent their wedding day. Each decor item was flawlessly executed by Donovan-Groves Events, one of our favorite wedding planners in Charlottesville. Keswick Hall was beautifully decorated with string lighting and elegant flower arrangements from Southern Blooms which meshed perfectly with the beauty of the hall. Upon arrival in Charlottesville, guests enjoyed a bottle of Jeff’s wine from his vineyard, First Colony Winery, as part of their welcome gifts. They also got the royal treatment as they were greeted with Champagne before the ceremony, and later enjoyed an artistically delightful signature cocktail to sip throughout the evening. Thanks to the wonderful service at Keswick Hall, guests flutes were always filled with bubbly! This luxurious wedding had many splendid moments and we are so excited to share some of our favorites with you!
