Kristie & Steve’s gorgeous barn wedding at Castle Hill Cider was a day to remember. This couple is so fun and full of life and love. Our favorite part of their story is how Steve proposed on Halloween so he would never forget the date! He was also creative and used Kristie’s love for details with a monogramed pillow to help in the proposal. Her passion for details could be seen throughout their wedding day, from the monogramed oxfords for the bridesmaids, to the special cufflinks for the groomsman!

The rain held off until later in the evening, which allowed us to get some amazing landscape portraits of the couple. We love the rustic, white fencing that surrounds the barn at Castle Hill; it encompasses the lush, rolling hills which offers an marvelous background for portraits. We adored the light pink and green color scheme throughout their wedding, which coincided perfectly with the dusky weather and was emphasized in the beautiful flower arrangements by Hedge Fine Blooms. We are still gushing about the luscious green apples nestled in their centerpieces. This wedding was definitely a family affair. Kristie’s sister-in-law, Alisa, of Creatively Engaged, did the entire stationary suite with their personalized weather vane and pink details. We have really enjoyed getting to know Kristie’s mother, Linda, as she helped in the wedding planning process as well. We loved seeing how Linda and Kristie’s vision was met with flawless execution from Evelyn Keyes and her team from Icing the Cake, making for a very memorable wedding!
