Spring is just around the corner and as the sun comes out and flowers bloom, engaged couples everywhere are quickly planning their engagement sessions. This means it is time to shed those winter coats and bring out the spring clothes you’ve been wanting to wear for so long! Having trouble deciding on what to wear and on the best location for your spring engagement session? You are not alone! Many couples face this challenge so we created a Spring Style Guide to help you choose flattering looks and the perfect outdoor locations for your engagement portraits.
As a special spring incentive, we are currently offering a FREE portrait session when you book Aaron Watson Photography for your wedding by the end of March. There is limited availability left in our 2013 season so please do not hesitate to email us at info@aaronwatsonphoto.com or call 434.202.8031 soon!
Happy Spring!

Now that we have your looking exceptionally stylish, here are some of our favorite locations for you to consider for your spring engagement session!
1. A Vineyard – Nothing is more romantic than spending the afternoon at a vineyard with the one you love. The lush green vines will provide a beautiful backdrop for your portrait session and the relaxing glass of wine you are sure to enjoy will guarantee a perfect day!
Photographed at Trump Winery.
2. An Urban Environment – Looking for a location with an urban flair? Choose a downtown location and get ready to explore! You never know what you might find down a side-street, at a park or in a local cafe that will make for the perfect place for pictures. We have a feeling the flowers and budding trees you are also sure to find with have you dancing (safely) in the streets!

3. An Orchard – Orchards are not just for the fall! They provide a playful and casual environment for an engagement session all year round. One of our favorite places to bring couples in the spring is Chiles Peach Orchard where beginning in May, you can pick strawberries! Just think, an engagement session and fresh strawberries all in one day! We highly suggest you come hungry.
